Screens today are rarely quiet. Between notifications, feeds, and constant updates, most interfaces are designed to demand attention rather than accompany it.
Astrological Clock is designed to do the opposite: to serve as a passive, decorative backdrop. Built as a live, 60fps celestial map, the wheel rotates slowly to align with your local horizon.
Use Cases
A live decorative screen fits naturally into spaces where traditional screens feel too active:
- Dedicated wall art: Cast the map to a television in a living room or entrance to create a minimalist, changing focal point.
- Workspace companion: Keep it open on a secondary display or tablet next to your keyboard, offering a quiet reference for the passage of time.
- Mindful spaces: Use it in yoga studios, creative offices, or study rooms, where the procedurally generated chimes and low-frequency drone foster focus and calm.
- Ambient night clock: Place it on a bedside table at night as a soft, astronomical nightlight that moves in sync with the actual stars.
Passive Setup
To use it as a screensaver:
- Open the clock on a tablet, smart TV, or secondary display.
- Set your city.
- Enter Fullscreen (Zen Mode) using the icon in the top right.
